Ellen Ault - Handmade 3D

Ellen Ault created Handmade 3D to return to sewing.  During the day, Ellen teaches computer animation to college students. Afterward, she likes to come home to make projects that do not require a computer.  Utilizing her three dimensional knowledge from her studies, she creates plush characters to hug and sit on her lap, as long as her dog or cats are not there first. 

Ellen credits her sewing talents to her mom, a gifted quilter and crafter, who was constantly creating something on her sewing machine while Ellen grew up.  Many years of watching her mom absorbed artistic skills into her hands, now creating projects of her own.  Ellen still deems herself a non-quilter and gets very excited when she makes points line up in a block.  To see her current work from plush monsters to her attempts at quilting, please visit her blog, Handmade3D.blogspot.com.
