Helle-May Cheney's background includes a degree in engineering and a childhood spent in her mother's fabric store. She enjoys bringing design, geometry, color, and technique together to produce a work of art - much like a well engineered/designed building - but much prettier to look at! Since 2007, she has been based on the East Coast. Helle-May is currently a member of The Courthouse Quilters, based in Frenchtown, NJ. I have just completed the quilt pattern - Contra Dance. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed making this quilt and that the instructions were clear enough even for a beginner like me.
