Joan Dorsay - Joan Dorsay Quilt Designs

Joan Dorsay is an award-winning quilter who lives in Ottawa, Canada’s national capital. She made her first quilt thirty years ago.  While she makes pieced quilts, she much prefers hand-appliqué and hand-quilting. Her first patterns were developed after teaching classes in beginners’ appliqué.   Several of her designs have been inspired by the buildings and the grounds on Parliament Hill, Ottawa.
