Kami is the Japanese word for turtle. I have admired the grace and beauty of oriental art for many years and for that reason alone this little turtle has a certain Asian flair, although the selection of fabrics will change his look to fit in with many other styles. The quilt pattern is full size and numbered for ease and accuracy of placement. Instructions are written for basted needle turn applique although any applique technique can be used.
