The Shoe Box Treasures pattern is designed for beginners, children with supervision or experienced quilters who wish to make a fast and easy pattern. Only two pieces - a square and a half-square triangle and NO Inset seams!
A child will enjoy selecting his or her own "treasures" from the wide variety of novelty or picture fabrics available today. Any combination of fun fabrics can be used or the quilt can express a theme such as a collection of flowers, fish, bugs or other items. The optical illusion of stacked boxes is fun for all.
