The Simply Medallions pattern is part of a collection of patterns specifically designed to showcase wonderful Large-Scale print fabrics.  The supporting applique panels are up-sized and can be easily machine or hand appliqued.  There are three different applique designs included in the pattern that will coordinate with most fabrics.  The first is the Wisteria Kamon for an Asian style fabric (shown above).  The second design is the Fleur-de-Lis Scroll (shown to the right) for more traditional or reproduction fabrics .  The Meandering Hearts (show below) is for a child quilt, a tween quilt, or a "just because I Love You" quilt. These quilts can be made larger quickly by increasing the 3" border to 6" or 9".  Use a really great Large-Scale coordinating fabric for the border.
