Fat Quarter Friendly!

The Snap Bag is a cute little around-town purse that is filled with lots of charm an personality.  Patterns for both Traditional and Grand sizes are included.  Use a single interchangeable tubular frame along with multiple versions of one of the two bag types and your possibilities are endless. 

Two contrasting fat quarters are used for the outside and a third fat quarter is used for the lining.  The bag can be dressed up using velvets with hand embroidery and beading or just let the fabrics do the talking for you.

If you make the Grand Snap Bag, the 24 cm frame can also be used on the Snap Backpack (GTD-102).

You can buy the Snap Bag frames from Quilt Plus.  The 24 cm frame is labeled 9", while the 21 cm frame is labeled 8".

Finished bag sizes:
Traditional:  9" wide x 5 1/2 high (uses a 21 cm tubular frame, GTD-502, shown below)
Grand Snap Bag: 12" wide x 6 1/2" high (uses a 24 cm tubular frame, GTD-503, shown below)
