This traditional block was originally constructed to finish with a block size of 14". Re-sized to finish as a 6" block and with the simple alteration in color placement, a whole new effect is created in an attempt to capture the nostalgia and innocence of years gone by. Using speedy and easily executed piecing techniques, a top is quickly put together with little or no effort and uses up those dreaded strips we can never seem to discard from the scrap drawer. Hence, the name Sweet Nothings.
