Double or Single Overlay Hidden Zipper in Front Hidden Walking Vent

This skirt LOOKS like a South Pacific Sarong - but WEARS like a fitted skirt. The Skirt Front is attached at the side seam (under the Pleated Outer Layers) - so there is no gaping when you walk or sit. There is a hidden walking vent so you still have lots of movement. The closure is a completely hidden (very easy!) zipper in the front of the skirt so you dont have to reach around to zip-up. Even better, you can make the skirt with both of the front layers as shown, with the middle layer in a contrasting fabric - or you can make the skirt with only the Contrast Layer (darted/no pleats) for a more tailored, business skirt look. The Pleated Version works well in Batiks, but would be wonderful in a soft fabric to show off the swag created by the bias pleats of the Sarong.

This pattern features full sized templates for every size listed, no cutting and taping required.
