| The Winged Whimsies rest on leaves that are growing beyond their boxes. Use raw-edge, fusible or traditional appliqué techniques to attach the leaves and Whimsies to the background. Zig-zag stitches or straight stitches secure and decorate the edges of the appliqué pieces. Pattern pieces are reversed and ready to trace. Make all three blocks for a wall hanging or table runner or just one to adorn a shirt or bag.
Karri made one wall hanging in bright colors and one using animal prints. Try going wild with this quilt - it is a "Whimsy" after all.
Finished Size:
Wall Hanging is 13" x 40"
