Barbara Campbell

I have always loved to sew, starting in grade school making doll clothes and continuing into adulthood, making clothing, baby and home decor items. My interests have spanned most all handcrafts, usually making items to embellish my home. I have enjoyed meeting and taking classes with some very special teachers in the quilt world. Traveling to quilt shows has given me the opportunity to make friends with quilters, shop owners, vendors and designers.

I enjoy working with many of the fabric manufacturers designing contemporary quilts, using their latest fabrics. I have been fortunate in having many of my designs published in magazines and catalogs and have launched my teaching and pattern business. Most recently I have become an Authorized Sales Representative for Texture Magic by Superior Threads. A whole new adventure begins . . .

I have just completed the quilt pattern - Contra Dance. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed making this quilt and that the instructions were clear enough even for a beginner like me. I intend to purchase more of your patterns and know that I will enjoy them just as much. Thanks for the designs that look like an expert did them but are for 'newbies' like me.
