Kaleidoscope in Spring

Kaleidoscopes are fascinating. Its only natural that they are translated into quilts.

The Basic Kaleidoscope is a wonderful pattern for confident beginners to advanced quilters. It can be used to learn the PAPER STRIP PIECING technique which is faster and easier than traditional paper piecing. The design possibilities are endless so make one to learn the technique and then make more for gifts or just to play.

The Kaleidoscope pattern uses a unique PAPER STRIP PIECING technique. Paper piecing increases accuracy, while stabilizing the many biases. Piecing on strips makes the process faster and easier.

As an option, the pattern shows how to preview the design using mirrors to help determine fabric placement.

 

All the paper patterns needed are in the pattern envelope along with a master copy if you want to make more than one quilt.
