Cherie Brugler
|
Cherie Brugler has been sewing since her Mom taught her at the age of 6. As a result, she made a jumper to wear to school in second grade. She went to Ohio University and Oneonta State to earn a degree in Home Economics Education and SUC Buffalo for a Master's Degree in the same field.
Cherie has training in needle arts and machine sewing and demonstration. At the high school level, she has taught Sewing, Foods, Child Development, Business classes, Interior Decoration, Introduction to Education and Nursery School Teacher Preparation. She has also taught Adult Education sewing and cooking.
Since Cherie's retirement in 2007, she is having a wonderful time learning to use her embroidery/sewing machine to a greater degree. She loves "seeing" a project in her head bringing it to life with the drafting and construction process.
