Donna Ptak Collection

Donna Ptak is very busy lady. She spent 15 years as a single mom working in the banking industry and getting a degree in accounting. As a result of her job in banking, she met her current husband, a bank customer! Donna now has a 10 year old son and an 8 year old daughter, in addition to two older sons. Staying at home with the younger kids led to her meeting the girls at a local quilt shop and they put her to work making samples for their shop. She soon started putting her own ideas into fabric and designing her own patterns. With the love and support of those girls, many opportunities have opened up for her. Donna is currently teaching classes out of two quilt shops. In addition, she has her own "trunk show" for demonstrations and speaking engagements. Designing and quilting has become a passion for her. She is always trying to find more time for even more sewing, quilting and designing.

I have just completed the quilt pattern - Contra Dance. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed making this quilt and that the instructions were clear enough even for a beginner like me. I intend to purchase more of your patterns and know that I will enjoy them just as much. Thanks for the designs that look like an expert did them but are for 'newbies' like me.
