Kiko's Kimonos

Kiko's Kimonos is a follow-on to the successful three-dimensional Party Frocks Pattern using an adorable and easy-to-make dimensional kimono. The top section is made with folded overlapping squares. Bottoms are simple lined rectangles, very gentle gathering. All simple shapes. Fat Quarter friendly get one kimono from each fat quarter, and instructions include a fat quarter cutting diagram. Obis make use of scraps.

Kiko's Kimonos is cute as a 3-block small wallhanging. Sample/cover fabric is from Trendtex (Honolulu), backgrounds from Lakehouse. Kiko's Kimonos would be elegant in Asian indigos.
