McKenna Linn

McKenna Linn founded Make It Easy Sewing & Crafts in 1995 (under the name Nancy Restuccia) with the pattern KinderKakes. Seven years later and seven patterns later - including the best-selling Humbug Bag - she sold the business to have more time to design and create. Today, QuiltWoman.com owns and markets the Make It Easy line of patterns and books.

McKenna is the author of nine books, including "Hold It! How to Sew Bags, Totes, Duffels, Pouches & More (Chilton/Krause-Publisher) and Quilting by Machine (Singer Sewing Reference Library).  You can visit her website at http://www.mckennalinn.com.

I have just completed the quilt pattern - Contra Dance. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed making this quilt and that the instructions were clear enough even for a beginner like me. I intend to purchase more of your patterns and know that I will enjoy them just as much.  Thanks for the designs that look like an expert did them but are for 'newbies' like me.
