Nancy Allen
After being a lifelong seamstress, knitter and cross-stitcher, Nancy began quilting in 1985. She has made over 150 quilts and quilted items and has taught many classes. She loves all kinds of quilting, but especially likes hand appliqué, fusible appliqué, and hand quilting. The last couple of years she has been learning machine embroidery and long-arm quilting. She belongs to the Country Neighbors Quilt Guild that meets in Brockport, NY and was recently elected president. She teaches beginning sewing and kid's quilting and really loves the enthusiasm of the beginners.
When not in her sewing room, you can find Nancy walking her dog, riding or caring for her horse, or working out at the gym. She also enjoys her 2 cats, has a wonderful supportive husband of 23 years and 2 nearly grown kids.
