"I have been married for 35 years. During that time I have raised three
children, twin sons and a daughter. I have been a sewer for 40 plus
years. I have sewn clothes for every size, gender, and occasion. I
made my first quilt 32 years ago and made a few on and off over the
years. When our children were grown I decided to stop making clothes
and to make quilts. After having made several quilts and winning
awards at local quilt shows, along with an honorable mention in a
"Quilts from the Heart"contest through Miniature Quilts Magazine,
I was encouraged to market my own patterns. For a while I also taught
quilt classes at a local quilt shop and I began designing. I have not
found the time I need to put into any of these things as I would like."
"Last fall I made a decision to get a longarm machine, so I could
finish my quilts from start to finish. After that, I retired from my
Teaching Assistant position. Now I'm looking forward to doing what I
enjoy most; designing and making quilts, teaching quilt classes,
quilting a few quilts for others and visiting our children and
grandchildren. Finally, I'd like to share is a quote at that has
helped me follow my heart"
