Mahjongg Quilt Pattern AW-11

<< Previous in Beginner Quilt Patterns Next in Beginner Quilt Patterns >>
Price: $9.00
Item Number: AW-11
Designer: Sweetgrass Creative Designs / Anne Wiens
The Mahjongg quilts, with their illusion of layered tiles, are deceptively simple to make, and designed to show off larger-scale and panel prints.  Choose two small-scale or tone-on-tone prints for the coordinates and a background fabric that contrasts.

Our featured quilt was made with fabrics from the Butterfly Fling collection designed by Me and My Sister Designs for Moda Fabrics.

Finished Sizes
Crib:  44" x 56"
Lap:  55" x 70"
Twin:  66" X 84

What a quick and easy pattern!

I pieced together the crib sized version of this quilt in a single morning...about 4 hours of my time sewing. The instructions were clear and the finished design really popped! Nice job Anne.

Awesome Pattern
Christine Browning (Sunburst, MT) 2/26/2010 1:24 AM
I used this pattern when I was teaching my niece how to quilt. She did an excellent job, found the pattern very easy to follow and understand and finished with a beautiful quilt at age 18. Thanks Ann.

I have just completed the quilt pattern - Contra Dance. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed making this quilt and that the instructions were clear enough even for a beginner like me. I intend to purchase more of your patterns and know that I will enjoy them just as much.  Thanks for the designs that look like an expert did them but are for 'newbies' like me.
