CTD - A Cotton Treasure Design - Lidia Froehler

With her Godmother's inspiration, Lidia has been sewing since the age of 6 and always loved to create new projects. She took more interest in quilting for stress relief while working as a controller for large corporation. Her hobby soon grew into a full-blown addiction. After deciding she would rather run her own business then work for somebody else, she opened Cottons & More in July of 1999.

During the time Lidia operated the store, she was designing quilt patterns that were exclusive to Cottons & More. Being dedicated to the store and clientele she was reluctant to go on a holidays, so she organized many successful quilting cruises and this allowed her to take quilters on holidays with her and a good time was had by all.

After 10 years as a successful shop owner, Lidia retired to quilting and travel. Now, her love of fabrics & quilting continue to keep her busy, and she has developed a successful line of patterns that are sold all over North America, Europe, Japan and Australia.

Her greatest joys are designing, teaching, encouraging and supporting new quilters. Lidia is available for teaching.
