Loretta Shriner

I am the LO in Designs by LOBO, LLC, and I learned to love needlework from my mother who inspired me with her crochet and needlepoint efforts. I was introduced to sewing clothing in a Home Economics class when I was thirteen years old, but didn't start making quilts until later. My first quilt was a quilt-as-you-go log cabin, but I didn't fall in love with fabric until my early forties. After taking a few basic quilt construction classes in 1996, I began piecing with a passion! I have a husband and four sons who all own their fair share of quilts by me. I love working with color and novelty fabrics of all kinds.
