Designer Bio - NJD - Nellie J. Designs - Janelle Cedusky

Janelle Cedusky of Nellie J Designs (formally NJ Designs) started in 2003. Janelle started quilting as a hobby and a way to relieve life stresses. Quilting is a creative outlet for her now and has become a large part of who she is today. She enjoys working with bold, bright colors and bias edges. She finds inspiration in her husband and son. Janelle enjoys her trade as it has allowed her to meet all the wonderful people in the stores and classes.

Designing quilt patterns came naturally for Janelle. Her first three patterns Double Diamond, Beach Umbrellas and Cartwheels were released in 2008. In 2009, Ring Around The Rosies was released. She is looking forward to many new patterns for the future.

In Dec 2009, she was featured in her first magazine, McCall's Quilting with a pattern called "The Scent of Summer". Following that she has been featured in McCall's Quick Quilts with "Beach Party" and McCall's Quilting May/June 2010 issue with "Paradigm Shift".
