This snappy little fellow is a quick and easy quilt pattern great for beginning quilters. It is assembled in a stripped and pieced method with half square triangles for shaping. The pattern uses charts, first instructing how many strips to rotary cut of each color, then a set of charts showing how many pieces, of varying lengths, from these strips. The half square triangles are cut as squares and sewn using the quick corner method.Once everything is cut you will sew the quilt top strip by strip following a full page color image of the Alligator labeled with the letter designation for each piece.
The main instruction is for a crib size 42x36 image, and two additional pages, one with a smaller 28x24 and larger 56x48.
Finished Sizes:
Wall Hanging: 28" x 24"
Crib: 42" x 36"
Lap and Throw: 56" x 48"
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
