Frame a panel with squares from another panel or a coordinating fabric. The cover quilt features two coordinating panels made up of squares, with one of these having strips added to make the squares the right size.

Fabric shown in example is Stonehenge Stars and Stripes 12 collection by Northcott.

Patriotic quilt pattern uses a panel (trimmed to 26.5" x 40.5") and matching fabric. Have fun showcasing lots of different panels. **
