Combine a bit of piecing with an innovative way of using a border print in this lap quilt. Add some panels and a larger size of the pieced block to quickly make the queen-size version. Substitute a large focus fabric if a panel and coordinating border print are not available.

Fabric line shown is Northcott’s Naturescapes — When Push Comes to Shove collection.

Lap: 48½” x 66½”
Queen: 90½” x 98”
