Cross Roads is an advanced beginner quilt pattern using 2 1/2" squares, 2 1/2" half square triangles and 2 1/2" quarter square triangles. It looks complicated, but is easy to do if you lay the rows out one at a time. Use tone on tone fabrics against a dark solid background to enhance each of the crosses. A great non direction fabric to use is Blank Quilting's Rock Candy.
