This is a festive fall quilt. Easy to make with just one pieced block. Applique pumpkins are added to every other block which creates a fun design. Get creative with the fabric used for the pumpkins - flannel or wool possibly. Make the stems multi dimensional by using yarn or use the open blocks for embroidery patterns or more intricate quilting designs.

Fabric shown in the sample quilt is Northcott Maplewood Red.
