This great lap size quilt pattern. Will be perfect for the holidays in colors of gingerbread, rosy red & green from Lynette Anderson's Winter Village line for RJR. The square-in-a-square cornerstone blocks create the center of the stars and the sashing blocks create the star points. The blended border is also created from square-in-a-square blocks and is easy to do with careful color placement.
Terry recommends paper piecing the blocks for speed and accuracy and her cutting directions are listed for this technique. This quilt pattern requires accurate scant 1/4" seams to match all the points. Pattern includes hints for managing bias edges, a 1/4" seam allowance practice exercise and tips for Well-behaved Borders.
