These are great gifts for the music lover in your life either as a wall hanging, lap quilt, or large quilt for the bed. With the black piano you can really have some fun with the back ground color fabric.
Sizes: The main instruction is for a 42x42 quilt top, there are two additional pages with measurements to scale the image to a smaller 28x28 and larger 56x56. Add borders for even more variations.
Method: These image style quilts are made in a stripped and pieced method. Step 1 cut strips of varying sizes. Step 2 cut into different length pieces and label alphabetically. Then step 3 follow a full page labeled color image, sewing piece by piece and row by row. Thin lines are made with iron-on-ribbon or tight zig-zag stitch.
