A variation on LeMoyne Star using a kaleidoscope technique. My answer to the problem of using an 8 repeat block when I only had 6 repeats to work with. Fabric shown in the sample quilt is Free Spirit Pumpkin Paradise.
Stack ‘N Whack is a fun technique that produces unpredictable kaleidoscope blocks. When choosing your focus fabric, look for medium to large scale prints with a variety of colors and shapes for the best result. The number of blocks you get will depend on the measurement of the print’s repeat – how often the pattern repeats itself.
