Prairie View is wonderful as a lap or twin quilt when using large and medium scale directional prints. Fast to make, this is the pattern to use if you want to feature that special fabric. The sample above was made using the Cherish Nature collection designed by Deb Strain for Moda.

Anne Wiens, the designer of this quilt says "And I'll say it's fast [to make]...two students cut out and sewed together their twin-size tops in under 6 hours!
