The Race Time quilt pattern was inspired by the 100th running of the 500 mile race held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in May, 2016. It would be a great gift as a wall or a bed quilt for any race fan, young or old. The race cars are pieced and the middle "flags" are paper-pieced/foundation pieced. The oval on each car, for the cockpit, are appliqued.
