This quilt uses seven fabrics. #1 is the lightest, #2 is the second lightest, as so on, with #7 being the very darkest fabric. Fabric #7 is also the border and the quilt looks like it is floating on that fabric.

While some techniques are more advanced than others, no pattern contains curved seams, Y-seams, applique or similar challenges.
