The eyes and mouth are beaded and there is a fair amount of embellishment with decorative embroidery stitches throughout. The background sparkles with "beaded" snow. This quilt pattern is suitable for an intermediate level, although a determined advanced beginner might succeed if patient with the many appliques and stitches.
