We decided to put our spin on St. Nicholas and created a very unique red-work hand embroidery wall hanging. This wonderful piece has 6 hand embroidery blocks with a center that uses a traditional quilting block. You will use straight, stem and satin stitches in the embroidery.

We used Christmas themed fabrics that really make the hand embroidery blocks pop. However, with any of our designs we encourage you to pick fabrics and colors that make you happy. If your Christmas decor is blue and silver, this pattern can easily be done in those colors.

Would you like to have matching kitchen towels? Take a pick of the block you want to use and use the embroidery pattern on a kitchen towel. As always, let your imagination lead the way!
