Sydney the Cockatiel is a foundation paper-pieced block pattern, suitable for an advanced beginner. It assumes basic knowledge of paper piecing, but it has a page of useful tips to make your paper piecing more successful. The wall quilt that can be created will be approximately 10.125" x 17.625" with center Sydney block measuring 6.5" x 14"unfinished. This wall quilt pattern was designed in honor of my real-life feathered friend, Syd.
