This quilt pattern has a traditional, symmetrical layout with a wintery, frosty feel thanks to the cool blues and soft yellows in the fabrics. It features a three-by-three layout using two alternate blocks, giving it a mosaic look. I had an art deco style in mind when I designed this quilt pattern, and I love the results. Skills needed for this pattern are accurate ¼ inch seams, Flying Geese, Diamond In a Square and Cat’s Cradle Units.

Fabric shown in the sample quilt is Frosted Foliage for Island Batik.
