Top Dogs quilt pattern was designed especially for Spring Creek NeedleArt by Sharon Lyon. The dogs are based on a photo of pointers, Trooper & Sweet Pea, taken by her brother. Her brother trains and trials sporting dogs. Sharon wanted to feature the dogs on a traditional quilt pattern, in this case, clamshells. The clamshells depict the sky and foliage behind the dogs.

Use as shown for a wall quilt or add borders for a throw/lap quilt. Suitable for hand, machine or fusible appliqué. Hand or machine quilt. Grab scraps and some fat quarters for this adorable quilt pattern.
