This is one of my favorite designs for highlighting truly special panel squares. These wonderful water-color birds by Connie Haley for 3 Wishes Fabrics fit this pattern perfectly.

While not difficult to make, accuracy is key. The pattern contains a practice section to assure you are using a scant 1/4” seam. Directions for my favorite mitered border technique are included as well.
